Shanaia is a modern phonetic variation of Shania, which is often associated with the Ojibwa phrase meaning 'on my way.' However, as a variant of the Hebrew name Jane or Shana, it is most commonly interpreted as 'God is gracious.' It gained visibility in the late 20th century due to the influence of country-pop music culture.
