Venom of God or Severity of God
In Jewish lore and mysticism, Samael is a complex figure often depicted as an archangel with a dual nature, representing both severity and divine justice. While sometimes associated with darker roles in later traditions, the name etymologically combines the Hebrew words for 'poison' or 'left' with 'El' (God).
