Moon goddess
Salena is a variant of Selena, which is derived from the Greek word 'selene' meaning moon. In Greek mythology, Selene was the personification of the moon who drove her chariot across the heavens. The 'a' spelling provides a slightly more phonetic and softer variation of the classic name.
