Red king
Derived from the Old Irish elements 'ruadh', meaning red, and 'rí', meaning king. Historically, it was the name of the last High King of Ireland, Ruaidrí Ua Conchobair, who reigned in the 12th century. It remains a popular choice in Ireland and Scotland but is rare in the United States.
