Scented, sweet basil, or king
In Arabic, Rehan refers to the sweet-smelling basil plant, which is mentioned in the Quran as a plant of paradise. In Sanskrit and Urdu contexts, it is often interpreted as 'king' or 'star.' It is a popular name across the Muslim world and South Asia.
