Counsel power
A variant of Reginald, derived from the Germanic elements 'ragin' (counsel) and 'wald' (rule or power). It shares the same etymological roots as the Old Norse name Ragnvaldr, brought to Britain by the Normans. While much rarer than the standard Reginald, it retains the same sense of leadership and authority.
