Ancient, venerable
A rare variant of Priscilla, which is the diminutive of the Roman family name Prisca. It is derived from the Latin word 'priscus', meaning ancient or of a former time. In the New Testament, Priscilla was a leader in the early Christian church alongside her husband Aquila.
