Church or cemetery; patterned fabric
A modern American invention, Paislynn combines the Scottish surname Paisley with the popular suffix -lynn. Paisley refers to a town in Scotland, originally derived from the Middle Latin word for a church or basilica. The name is also strongly associated with the intricate teardrop-shaped textile pattern that originated in Persia but was popularized in the Scottish town.
