Little deer
Derived from the Welsh word 'os' meaning deer, combined with a diminutive suffix. In Welsh mythology, Osian (often associated with the Irish OisΓn) was a legendary poet and warrior, the son of Finn MacCumhail. It remains a popular and culturally significant choice in Wales while remaining rare in the United States.
