Servant of Yahweh
Derived from the Hebrew name Ovadyah, it is composed of the elements 'avad', meaning to serve, and 'yah', referring to the Hebrew God. In the Old Testament, Obadiah is a minor prophet and the author of the shortest book in the Bible.
