Magnolia flower; also a short form of Magnolia
Nolia is primarily used as a diminutive of Magnolia, which refers to the flowering tree named after French botanist Pierre Magnol. It has also been used historically as a short form of Finola or Zenobia. In recent years, it has emerged as a standalone name with a Southern-gothic charm.
