Little girl or child
A diminutive form of the name Nina, which has roots in various languages but is most commonly associated with the Spanish word for 'girl'. In Slavic contexts, it is often a pet name for names ending in -nina, such as Antonina or Giannina. It is particularly popular in Nicaragua and other Central American countries.
