Victory of the people
Nikolos is a Greek variant of the name Nicholas. It is derived from the Greek elements 'nike', meaning victory, and 'laos', meaning people. While the spelling Nicholas is more common in English-speaking countries, Nikolos retains a more traditional phonetic connection to its Hellenic roots.
