Victory of the people
Niklas is the Scandinavian and German form of Nicholas. It is derived from the Greek name Nikolaos, combining 'nike' (victory) and 'laos' (people). While Nicholas is a perennial classic in the US, Niklas offers a more distinct, European alternative.
