Sea nymph or daughter of Nereus
Nereyda is a Spanish variant of the Greek name Nereida. It refers to the Nereids, who were the fifty sea nymphs and daughters of the sea god Nereus in Greek mythology. The name evokes the grace and spirit of the ocean.
