Without possessions or someone who has nothing
Derived from the Slavic element 'manjati', meaning 'to have' or 'to possess', combined with a negative prefix. Historically, it was used as a name given to children to ward off evil spirits by suggesting the child was of no value. It is a deeply traditional name in Serbian history, famously borne by the founder of the Nemanjić dynasty.
