Of the sea or a sailor
Nautia is a rare name likely derived from the Latin word 'nauta', meaning sailor. In Roman mythology, the Nautii were an ancient patrician family said to be descended from Nautes, a companion of Aeneas who was entrusted with the Palladium of Troy.
