Fragrant ointment or beloved
Myrah is a modern variation of Myra, which was likely invented by the 17th-century poet Fulke Greville. It is often associated with the aromatic resin 'myrrh' or interpreted as a feminine form of the Sanskrit name Mira, meaning 'prosperous' or 'beloved'.
