Moziah is a variant of the Hebrew name Moses, which is traditionally interpreted as meaning 'drawn out' in reference to being rescued from the Nile. It may also be influenced by the name Josiah, meaning 'Yahweh supports.' The name gained some modern visibility through the success of young entrepreneur Moziah Bridges.
