Mountain of the serrated peak
A variant of Montserrat, referring to the Virgin of Montserrat in Catalonia, Spain. The name is derived from the Latin 'mons serratus', describing the jagged appearance of the mountain range where the monastery is located. It is a rare, phonetic spelling used primarily in Latin American communities.
