Mireyah is a modern phonetic variation of Mireya, which is likely derived from the Provençal name Mireio. It was famously used by the poet Frédéric Mistral and is often associated with the Latin 'mirari', meaning to admire. In some contexts, it is also linked to the Hebrew name Amira, meaning princess or treetop.
