Lord Krishnas devotee or prosperous
In the Sanskrit tradition, Miraya is often associated with Mira, the name of the 16th-century mystic poet and devotee of Lord Krishna. It is also interpreted as meaning prosperous or a combination of the elements 'Mira' and 'Aya'. It has gained some modern usage as a fresh, melodic alternative to names like Maya or Mira.
