Wonder, miracle, or to admire
Derived from the Basque word for 'miracle,' it is also related to the Latin verb 'mirari,' meaning to wonder at or admire. It shares the same linguistic root as the English words miracle and admire. In Spanish-speaking contexts, it is sometimes used as a Basque equivalent to the name Milagros.
