Goal, boundary, or pearl
In Latin, Meta refers to a conical post or boundary marker used in Roman circuses. It is also used in German-speaking cultures as a diminutive of Margaret, which originates from the Greek word for pearl. In modern contexts, it is often associated with the Greek prefix meaning beyond or transcending.
