Fragrant stone or flint stone
Marwa is derived from the Arabic word 'marwah', which refers to a hard, smooth stone or flint. It is deeply significant in Islamic tradition as it is the name of one of the two sacred hills in Mecca, Al-Marwa, used during the ritual of Sa'ee. The name also carries connotations of a fragrant plant or a pleasant scent in some poetic contexts.
