In Ancient Egyptian mythology, Maat was the goddess who personified the fundamental concepts of truth, balance, order, harmony, law, morality, and justice. She was responsible for the regulation of the stars and the seasons, and her name represents the ethical and moral principles that every Egyptian citizen was expected to follow.
