Lime tree or linden tree
Lynnea is a variant of Linnea, a name coined by the renowned Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus. He named the twinflower 'Linnaea borealis' after himself, and the name ultimately derives from the Swedish word 'lind', referring to the linden tree.
