Lime tree or twinflower
Lynea is a variant of Linnea, a Swedish name derived from the botanist Carl Linnaeus. It refers to the twinflower, which was named in his honor, or the lime tree (linden tree). The name carries a delicate, botanical charm and is often associated with the natural beauty of Scandinavia.
