Light
Luc is the French form of the Latin name Lucas, which originally denoted a person from Lucania, a region in southern Italy. It is also deeply associated with the Latin word 'lux', meaning light. While the English version Luke is common, Luc offers a sleeker, more European alternative for American parents.
