Laurel or bay tree
A variant of Laura, Lora is derived from the Latin word 'laurus', referring to the laurel tree. In ancient Rome, laurel wreaths were symbols of victory, honor, and high achievement. While it was popular in the late 19th century, it is now considered a rare and vintage alternative to the more common Laura or Lauren.
