Noble and ready
Lonzo is a shortened form of Alonzo, which is the Spanish variant of the Germanic name Alfonso. It combines the elements 'adal' (noble) and 'funs' (ready or prompt). While historically used as a nickname, it has a long history of independent use in the United States.
