Forgetfulness or truth
Letha is primarily a shortened form of Alethea, a Greek name meaning 'truth'. It is also frequently associated with Lethe, the river of forgetfulness in Greek mythology. In the United States, it enjoyed moderate popularity in the late 19th and early 20th centuries before becoming a rare vintage choice.
