Heavenly flower or child of royalty
Leilana is a modern elaboration of the traditional Hawaiian name Leilani. It combines the elements 'lei', meaning a garland of flowers or a child, and 'lana', which can mean calm or floating in Hawaiian, though it is often used as a rhythmic extension to the more common Leilani.
