Lavina is a variant of Lavinia, a name of Latin origin. In Roman mythology, Lavinia was the daughter of King Latinus and the wife of Aeneas, considered the mother of the Roman people. It is often associated with the city of Lavinium and carries a sense of ancient dignity.
