Narrow channel, strait, or graceful
Kylia is often considered a modern feminine elaboration of Kyle, which is derived from the Gaelic word 'caol' meaning a narrow spit of land or a strait. It may also be interpreted as a variant of the Hawaiian name Kaila or the Greek name Kyra. Its usage in the United States is contemporary and remains relatively rare.
