A raven or a basket
Korben is a variant of Corbin, which derives from the Anglo-Norman French word 'corbin', a diminutive of 'corb' meaning raven. It may also relate to the Hebrew word 'korban', referring to a sacrificial offering or a basket used for such purposes. The name gained modern visibility through science fiction cinema in the late 1990s.
