Kirra is a name with multiple possible origins. In the Yugambeh language of Indigenous Australians, it is associated with a boomerang or a leaf. It is also the name of a famous surf beach in Queensland, Australia, and may be used as a variant of the Greek name Kira, meaning 'lady' or 'mistress'.
