Dark, swarthy; or a combination of Kerry and Lynn
Kerryn is primarily a modern variant of the Irish name Kerry, which refers to the people of Ciar (Ciarraige). It is often interpreted as a blend of Kerry and the suffix -lyn, or as a stylized spelling of the Cornish name Keryn. In Australia and New Zealand, it gained moderate use in the mid-20th century as a feminine choice.
