Kenyah is a modern variation of Kenya, which is derived from the Kikuyu name for Mount Kenya, Kirinyaga, meaning 'mountain of whiteness.' In Hebrew contexts, it is sometimes linked to the name Keren, meaning 'animal horn' or 'symbol of strength.'
