Heart or pure
Kardi is a modern name with multiple possible roots. It is often used as a diminutive of Kardelen (Turkish for 'snowdrop') or as a variation of the Greek 'kardia' meaning heart. In some contexts, it is also viewed as a creative spelling variant of Cardi or a shortened form of names like Kardiatou.
