Queen mother or pure
Kandice is a modern spelling variant of Candace, an ancient Ethiopian title for a queen or queen mother. In some contexts, it is also associated with the Greek word 'katharos', meaning pure. While the 'K' spelling gives it a more contemporary feel, the name has deep historical and biblical roots.
