Kairon is a modern variant of the Gaelic name Kieran or Ciarán, which originally meant 'little dark one'. In some contexts, it is also associated with the Greek 'kairos', meaning an opportune or supreme moment. It has evolved in English-speaking countries as a contemporary phonetic variation of more traditional names.
