Companion or fighter
Kaidan is a modern variant of the Gaelic name Caden, often interpreted as 'companion' or 'friend' in Arabic contexts, or 'fighter' in its Celtic roots. It has gained popularity in the 21st century as part of the trend for names ending in '-den'. In Japanese culture, the word 'kaidan' refers to traditional ghost stories, though this is rarely the intended meaning for the name in the West.
