Laurel or crown; who is like God?
Kaela is often used as a shortened form of Michaela, the feminine version of Michael, meaning 'who is like God?'. It is also associated with the Hebrew name Kelila, which refers to a laurel wreath or crown of victory. In modern usage, it serves as a streamlined alternative to the more common Kayla.
