Jensy is a diminutive or variant of Jens, which is the Danish and Frisian form of Johannes. It ultimately derives from the Hebrew name Yochanan, meaning 'Yahweh is gracious'. While traditionally masculine in Northern Europe, it is used as a unisex name in modern English-speaking contexts.
