Jehovah has known or friend of God
Derived from the Hebrew name Yedaiah, it signifies that God has known the individual or that the person is a friend of God. It appears in the Old Testament as the name of several minor characters, including a priest. While rare, it offers a distinctive alternative to the more common Jedidiah or Josiah.
