Rock rose or honeycomb
In Spanish, Jara refers to the Cistus or 'rock rose' plant, common in the Mediterranean. In Arabic, it is often associated with the word for honeycomb or a vessel for honey. It is also found in Slavic cultures as a feminine form of Jaromir, related to the word for spring or fierce.
