Jaci is primarily used as a diminutive of Jacinda, which is derived from the Greek word for the hyacinth flower. It is also frequently used as a modern phonetic spelling of the initials J.C. or as a short form of Jacqueline, which means 'supplanter' or 'God is gracious'.
