Yew wood or archer
Ivon is a variant of the French name Yves, derived from the Germanic element 'iv' meaning yew. In medieval times, yew wood was the preferred material for making bows, leading to an association with archers. While traditionally masculine in Europe, it is occasionally used for all genders in the United States.
