Yew tree or archer
Ivin is a rare variant of the name Yves or Ivo, which stems from the Germanic word 'iv' meaning yew. Historically, the wood of the yew tree was used to create longbows, leading to the name's association with archers. It is a distinctive alternative to the more common Ivan or Ian.
